the entire United States. The Assistant Project Manager/Estimator
will organize and assist in the management of ground improvement
projects as well as prepare complete, accurate takeoffs, estimates
and preliminary ground improvement designs. This position is
responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings,
ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid, win
and execute the project upon award. Supervisory Responsibilities:
NoneDuties/Responsibilities: Prepare detailed project estimates.
Attend on-site pre-bid/proposal conferences and site visits.
Develop and review supplier quotes and accept, review, and analyze
subcontractor quotes for best value. Prepare project bid status
reports and ensure compliance with all specifications and contract
Statements of Work and Bid Invitations. Prepare initial ground
improvement designs for review and input from Ground Improvement
Manager. Present cost estimates to meet customer proposals,
providing consideration for general and special conditions. Prepare
scope specifications and requirements, prepare and inputs project
schedules, perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost summary sheets,
and input quantities into estimating software. Review Company jobs
and compare on a timely basis to as-sold estimates to confirm
accuracy of estimate. Assist in developing project scope, goals,
and deliverables to ensure project completion. Assist in the
preparation of submittals and internal construction documents.
Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates. Addresses
questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
Interact with project personnel and ensure our work is performed in
accordance with project design and contract documents. Acts as a
liaison between company, clients, contractors, and vendors.
Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Required
Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication

Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to
read and understand construction drawings/documents Ability to
prioritize tasks. Thorough understanding of or the ability to
quickly learn about the project being developed. Proficient with
Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must possess a valid
driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.Education
and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or
Construction Management or related field. At least three years of
related experience.Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting
at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15
